Public Domain Blueprint – How to use PD

by Ruth Harding

Pleasure helps your disposition!

A few people emailed me after my last post begging me to tell them how I learned about Public Domain, and of course, more ideas on how it can be used. Let me begin by saying I fell into public domain as a natural progression of my love for antiques and vintage books. When I would look on eBay for old books I would often see prints for sale, prints that had been reproduced from classics. I wanted to know more about Pubic Domain and how it could be used so I signed up for a extensive course.

I started collecting images for no reason other than I loved classic illustrations from children’s books. As I became more interested wanted a refresher (a few years had passed) and I signed up for a fantastic course called the Public Domain Blueprint. The course covers everything from sourcing books in the public domain, images, magazine, patents, audio, and video and lots more. It is taught online with lots of videos and pdfs to download and view at your leisure and the support is fantastic. Click here for more information

If you want to get a grounding in all aspects of public domain, this is the course for you. Stay tuned for my next post.
